Outside temperature and humidity sensor AM2301

Digital sensor for outside air temperature and humidity. It measures conditions at the apiary and sends them alongside the weight.

Why it is worth having

Weight on its own tells you what happened. Weight together with temperature and humidity tells you why. A day with no gain during a flow reads very differently at 12 °C than at 28 °C, and knowing which it was saves you a wasted trip.

Fitting it

The sensor mounts in the shade, out of direct sun and rain, and connects to the scale. Its readings are sent with every weight measurement.
